Im not sure why but every atc iv had has always worked best with 0w40 ams oil from crappy tire. It doesnt matter weather its cold or hot out, this stuff is amazing, gears have never slipped or been sluggish, i tried some other motomaster garbage once, was for 4 strokes, rated for the 3 wheeler, i had driven a block after doing an oil change, the gears locked up and i almost went over the bars. Tried something different on my next machine, wasnt much better, the gears didnt lock up or anything but they seemed like they were slipping a bit and didnt seem to go in and out of gear very well. I finally tried the Ams oil 0w40 and have used it on every machine since.
